It's Gardengrocer.com, not grocery. Two or three weeks ahead of time should be fine. You don't have to be in your room for the deliver, Bell Services will hold your order for you and bring it to your room.

I think I did mine about 6 weeks before, just because I'm anal and they do "sell" out of popular times/days. They were absolutely wonderful, though. I would recommend them 100%.

Wow - if 6 weeks is anal - what am I? I reserved my delivery date for June 8th back in February.

But the point I got from gardengrocer, is it's never too early. You don't have to pay for it until just before the trip, you can make changes to your order until right before you pay, so if you know for sure you want a delivery - book it today.

This is my first time using them, and I'm going off all the reviews from other users that they will be as awesome as everyone says - and if not - so what - I'll still be in WDW!

wow, i am glad i didn't know about this beforehand or i would have worried. i ordered the day before we left australia - 4 days before we arrived at wdw. we were not there when it was delivered - bell services held on to it and delivered it when we got back to our room.

oh and another thing; i made an error when i did order - i put the date we arrived in NYC as delivery date, rather than the date we got to Orlando. when i realised it I sent an email and they corrected the error, no trouble. great service.

I've never heard of this. Do they deliver to timeshares as well or is this an on site thing?

Ok so I go to the register page for Gardengrocer.com put in ALL the required information and hit create account only to get the blank register page again so I entered my info. again. Hit create account and bam another blank register page so 1 more time I re-enter all my info. and another register page. After 3 tries I call Garden grocer get put on hold and disconnected. So I call right back out on hold and again get disconnected. Anyone have any ideas what I can do to get registered and put in a grocery order for our up coming trip to WDW? Thank you now I need to cool off. lol:)

They're an offsite service, so they'll deliver 'anywhere' in their delivery area. Check out their website www.gardengrocer.com

I'd keep trying. It is impossible to register on the site from the UK due to postcode problems but I followed the advice on another thread here and called and the guy I spoke to was fabulous and my order went through. The one thing I'd say is that other threads have mentioned paying after ordering - I have paid already from when I gave my CC number, but that may just be because of the overseas registration problem. Don't know what kind of office set up it is there - when I called the background noise was odd, sounded like the guy was stood in the middle of a busy motorway...

it was also impossible to register with an australian address because the website was not set up to deal with non-american addresses, but instead of calling (which is always stressful because of the time difference, and very expensive once you have been on hold for 15 minutes), someone here advised me to use the wilderness lodge address and postcode as my address and it worked perfectly - not a hitch.

Once you put in your shopping list and register how do you go back in to make changes? I've tried 2 different ways and cant seem to do it even after logging in. Thanks..:)

Thanks so much for this info! I was just able to order for our April 23-29 trip. I wanted to buy diapers for 2 y/o when we got there anyway, so this saves a lot of time! Plus, we can stock the fridge in our room at the Poly w/ lots of juice and water. Perfect!

Try phoning the company directly and tell them that you want someone to stay on the line with you as you try to log on/order. I didn't have any problems, so I can't really help with specific hints.

Make sure the juices you get can be unrefrigerated until you're ready to cool them - the refrigerators ARE fairly small and if you get a whole bunch of juice that MUST be refrigerated, you may not have room for all of it, or at least room for nothing else!

No worries - I got juice boxes that don't have to be refrigerated right away. That way, we can stock as we go, and easy to take along too.

So, what are the prices like compared to a regular grocery store? We are staying at a Timeshare and were planning on going to the grocery store, but if this is a huge timesaver for not much more cost, then I'd like to try it....maybe.

They shop at the regular stores so it's the same prices plus the delivery fees.

How much to tip the gardengrocery guy? A percent of what the groceries cost or just a flat fee? Thanks:)
