I read somewhere here that there is a certain place on main street that gives out free coffee refills. I forget where? Can someone tell me?

It's the middle of Main Street, on the right side as you're facing the castle (east side) - Market House. Save your receipt!

On that note, I have been meaning to ask if they have any kind of deal where you buy a ridiculously overpriced sports bottle, but then get free refills?

The Market House has the only free refills all day policy.

Some Buffeterias and table service locations will allow refills on your soda during the meal (no going back later in the day).

But Disney knows how to make a profit :fez:

And it seems to me that you can purchase a larger "character" sports bottle type container and then get free soft-drink refills for the rest of the day. (But I am not 100% certain on this one.)

We asked about this a couple of times at DL but were told no.
We do this at Universal they aren't free but they are only 99cents for the refill and we just take our bottle back each visit cuz they use the same ones.

As of right now the only free refillable cups/mugs are the ones you get thru booking your package thru AAA and they are only good in the spring, the mugs expire towards the end of April. You can refill them at specific locations up to 5 times a day on the honor system. The coffee refills at Market House are the only free refill beverage in the park after you leave the locations. If you're eating at the Plaza Inn you can refill your drinks for the time you are there but once you leave that's it...same with refills at the Carnation or BB or Cafe Orleans. French Market used to be refills but someone said that had changed on their last visit so I'm not sure on that location.

I have gotten same visit refills at White Water Snacks and Rancho del Zocalo. Whether it was "legal" or not, I don't know. I didn't ask, but I have never been questioned.

The general rules as they've been explained to me by CMs is if you fill the drink yourself, you are allowed refills for that meal.
