I wanted you opinion on my 17 and 1/2 year old brother and my 13 year old son going to Disney Quest alone. My brother is very mature and my 13 year ols has been to Disney 6 times and knows it like the back of his hand. Do you think it is safe for them to go alone. We will be staying at the Grand Floridian so they will take a bus over. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Can I just add to your question? Isn't DisneyQuest closing anymore? I think I'm out of the loop!

As long as they're taking Disney busses right to Downtown Disney, and not walking anywhere off site on their own, I see no problem with this. The kids will have a blast!

I've let my boys do this before - Cam was 17 and Ian was 12. They did fine. My daughter and I went shopping and then met up with them later in the afternoon. We all had cell phones, altho I was the only one who used them (had to be the "Mom" and call the guys to see how they were doing).

As long as the 17 year old is a responsible uncle, they should be fine.
Vegitabeta, I think DisneyQuest has been "about to close" for years now. Until they actually put up the blue wall around it, I wouldn't beleieve it.

DisneyQuest is not going anywhere.
In reference to the food service in DQ, that's a different story.

My son was going to DisneyQuest by himself when he was barely a teen. As long as you can trust the kid - it's perfectly safe. If I had a reason to not be able to trust my son (there are kids out there like that....you'd have to have your head in the sand to trust them) I wouldn't have allowed it, but he did fine.
Disney allows anyone 10 or older without an adult - a 13 yr old will NOT be the youngest unaccompanied kid there.

It's my personal feeling, age never shows maturity, some time a 25 year old person don't fill responsibility of their undergone, so you better knows your brother and son.
