View Full Version : Breakfast at Epcot? nvmom 03-07-2008, 01:29 PM Where can you eat breakfast at Epcot... counter service because we will not have an ADR. Thanks. nvmom Drince88 03-07-2008, 01:35 PM I like the Sunshine Seasons Food court (I think that's the name) in the Land Pavillion. I'm pretty sure that's one of the ones that had a recent menu update on MousePlanet - if you want to check it out. GusMan 03-07-2008, 01:54 PM IIRC, The electric umbrella also does some breakfast items, but it is not well advertised. I have only seen such an offering via a sign outside the EU's entrance. Not sure if it is a seasonal thing or some other random arrangement. ETA: Did some searching and I am seeing some reports that it is a usual thing. emmah 03-07-2008, 02:29 PM we had breakfast at the sunshine something, in the lands pavilion, in february. there were a couple of cooked plates (eggs, pancakes, sausage etc), fruit plates, yoghurt and juices. we were able to substitute the meats for something else = fruit i think. it was standard counter fare but we were starving (after the segway tour) so it tasted great to us! nvmom 03-07-2008, 04:22 PM Thank you! note to self on the Sunshine Season Food Court :) nvmom AVP 03-07-2008, 07:04 PM Thank you! note to self on the Sunshine Season Food Court :) nvmomThat's what I'd recommend - and if you time it right you can get the breakfast AND lunch menus at the same time! After our Segway tour Joe had eggs and I had Chinese food. AVP 91wingnut 03-10-2008, 12:38 PM Me bro' Mikey and I have eaten at the Sunshine place a few times in the morning (and yet they let us back??). They have a place that does all the standards, has yogurts and such, and makes fresh eggs while you wait. The BEST part, there is a bakery on the end that has muffins, brownies, and.......you guessed it........SCHOCOLATTE MOUSSSE!!! (stop laughing!, if you're an Ogre, it's an acceptable breakfast alternative). While not as good as La Patisserrie, at 9 in the morning it isn't bad!! (Plus, it tames the savage beast in Mikey - he needs sweets in the AM). So go get your fast passes for soarin', then head off to Sunshine Terrace for some breakfast Moussse............eggs? we don't need no stinkin' eggs...bring on the schocolatte!! Drince88 03-10-2008, 12:43 PM Mousse is made with eggs, therefore it's an acceptable breakfast food. Chocolate comes from plants, therefore is a vegetable, therefore is a very acceptable breakfast food. Mousse also has milk in it. What more does a person need in a breakfast item? :D rashiz 03-10-2008, 02:21 PM I wholeheartedly agree. Mousse may be the perfect breakfast food. If you add cookie crumbles you get a serving of carbs too if you need it... mom22gls 03-11-2008, 12:41 AM Mousse is made with eggs, therefore it's an acceptable breakfast food. What more does a person need in a breakfast item? :D Years ago, Bill Cosby did a routine on the same theory, justifying giving the kids chocolate cake for breakfast. danyoung 03-11-2008, 06:15 AM "Dad is great.... Gave us the chocolate cake!" 91wingnut 03-11-2008, 07:26 AM Mousse is made with eggs, therefore it's an acceptable breakfast food. What more does a person need in a breakfast item? :D Cathy, The Little Mrs. is still rolling on the floor laughing about this post. Her exact quote was "Oh my God, do you have a sister you don't know about? There is actually another person who thinks like you for breakfast!" (I've been known to eat ANY form of schocolatte I could get my hands on in the morning for breakfast) Thanks for the ammo....it'll be schocolatte in the 'morn for me now!!LOL:D 91wingnut 03-11-2008, 07:29 AM "Dad is great.... Gave us the chocolate cake!" Wow I can totally remember that whole skit! Does this mean I'm getting really old???? danyoung 03-11-2008, 08:18 AM Nah - it was definitely a memorable story from the great Coz. I had the great good fortune of working with him 4 times in one summer many years ago. Our show group would come out & do our song & dance, and then he'd work for an hour and just KILL us! Somewhere I have a cassette tape that shouldn't exist of one of his sets. Very funny stuff! Sorry for the OT. We go and get pasteries and coffee and sit outside. Feels like your in another country (a.k.a. France). It's a nice light breakfast and the sugar rush gets you going for the rest of the park! That only works if you're willing to eat breakfast after 11:00 am, since that's when World Showcase opens. Wendi 04-19-2008, 08:30 PM Another vote for Sunshine Seasons... they have a lot to offer! Make sure to grab fast passes for Soarin' (and maybe ride it if you get there in time to beat the crowd!) before you eat since you'll be right there. tdelaney_98 04-25-2008, 05:55 PM Wow I can totally remember that whole skit!
