Me, my mom and dad might be going to WDW at Christmas, and I remember my mom saying something about how it would be nice for her and my dad to go eat at one of the nice places around Disney (I'm a really picky eater so we never go to any), so I was just wondering what any of you might recomend.
(FYI, they did ask me loads of times whether I'd be ok with just staying around the hotel, they're not just leaving me :p)

Oh, I think it would be fun for you to do a few hours on your own in a park - or if all are not comfortable with that, at your resort. If you do decide to get adventurous, I really recommend Epcot for 'doing what you want to do' around World Showcase - though maybe in your case, going TOT/RnR and back and forth might be more to your liking!
ANYWAY - I am a HUGE fan of Jiko for the food. California Grill is another great one - and if you can time it for during the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom, it can be nice and romantic for them (and you don't have to be there to see them hold hands! :D). Actually, any of the 'signature' locations would likely be good. They're a little more expensive, but I haven't had a meal at one that hasn't been worth it (after my May trip, there'll only be one left for me to try!)
I think I'd just stay at the hotel. We'd either be staying at POFQ or the Beach Club maybe, so I could have a nice walk around either place. No, I don't think I'd be going on ToT or RnR :p I'm not a big ride person.
Oh, I've heard of California Grill, maybe they'll try that one. They're both pretty good with eating all types of food (so no idea where I got my pickyness from, maybe some wacky third-uncle-twice-removed or something :p)
Thanks for the info :D
