I would like to be able to take the boys for a morning by myself. Are there many rides that I could go on with both of them? One will be 4 in May, and the other will be 2 next month. I read in another thread that Peter Pan allows 3, but are there others? Thanks!

jungle cruise, potc, winnie the pooh, anything in fantasyland except for mr. toad and dumbo, tho they might let you since your youngest is so young, nemo, and star tours

You should be able to ride everything in Fantasyland, including Mr. Toad (we always ride three to a car). I think you can also do Autopia (the cars in Tomorrowland). And then there's the Mark Twain, the Disneyland Railroad...

Lots and lots of options for you!!! Have fun!:)

The first time we took a baby to the park, we were really surprised how much he could ride. Basically, if it doesn't have a height requirement, the kids can ride. You won't be able to go on any big thrill coasters, but everything else is fair game.

I've taken two young kids on Buzz. I got a gun, the oldest got a gun, and the youngest gets the joystick to turn us around.

don't skip the 'obvious' those wonderful Main Street vehicles, my daughter adores riding the horse drawn trolley every opportunity she gets. Jungle Cruise, pirates (if your little guys are brave of heart) I dont know if the Aladdin storytelling is up and going at the moment it seems to be a little seasonal but it's an awesome way to spend some time...let them climb Tarzans tree house, take them over to TSI and run for a bit...Nemo is another one that you can take them both on without worries, over in DCA, Monsters Inc would be doable, I'm not sure about the ones in Fliks fun fair...we don't spend a lot of time in there.

We just went with a one year old and a three year old, and we were able to do so much! You and the little ones can ride the rockets! They allowed me to take both kids with me. You can ride Dumbo, if you are comfortable the 4 year old can ride alone. Don't forget the Casey Jr train, and the teacups. When I went, the kids also loved Pirates, and Haunted Mansion ( they never got scared). Have fun, and enjoy your trip. The kids will have a blast!! Don't forget to let the kids run around Toontown :)

PanFan, can you verify this? I didn't think 4 yos could ride alone.

The "old" rule was children over 7 could ride alone. I can't IMAGINE sending a 4-y/o on Dumbo alone, myself, let alone them allowing it.

There are a TON of rides you can do with two kids. Most have already been named - I've done Toad with two kids. Just about all of Fantasyland, Mark Twain, Tom Sawyer's Island, Pooh, HM if the 2-y/o will go for it, POTC if the 2-y/o will go for it, Jungle Cruise - you could probably do Buzz with three, but one of you won't get a gun. Autopia but one kid won't get to steer. Monorail, DL RR.

Three is tougher but they've let my older two ride together for a year or two now and it's worked out nicely. They're currently 9 & 6.

Autopia but one kid won't get to steer.Solve that fight fast, parent steers!!!! I think it was my brother (28) who got in the car, and put his 2 yo son in the passenger seat saying "He can't reach the pedals." My brother is a dork.

I let the 2yo "steer" last time on Autopia, and I don't think my neck has recovered yet! DD, however, rode with the almost 4yo and said he wasn't much better, so not sure what I'll do, lol!

Sorry guys, I wasn't thinking when i said the 4 year old could ride alone. I have a three year old and he rides the fake Dumbo ride alone at the fair, so I guess I was stupid in assuming the Dumbo ride at DL was the same. The ride at the fair must not go nearly as high as the real Dumbo ride:confused:

The ride at the fair must not go nearly as high as the real Dumbo ride:confused:No problem. I was just wondering if they suddenly changed something. Even my 5yo niece needed a partner on Dumbo. It probably goes 20 feet and has a small opening. I would not be comfortable putting an under 5-6 on the ride alone. The Dumbo seat is big enough for a medium adult and 2 small children.

Also, Disney has stricter safety rules than most county fairs. 4yos generally will not be allowed to ride any ride alone in Disneyland. If you absolutely cannot ride with them, a CM can go with them.

I think the smaller ride's in Bug's Land in DCA will accommodate you and two little ones. (I've been wanting to take DBF's five-year old but we haven't made it over there yet so not sure)

You can ride anything in FL with them except (depending on 2yo's height) the Matterhorn. As far as Dumbo, the policy is exactly the same as Peter Pan: three is the max including lap sitting. An adult with a 4yo and 2yo will easily fit into one Dumbo. We often have two adults with one child on the lap. We can't do any more than 3 and when the situation arises when you have one parent to ride with three children under 7, the same policy applies as at Peter Pan: the two oldest can ride together in a Dumbo adjacent to the adult and youngest, or you can request a CM to do a ride along (though this might take a while).

I can't think of any ride in DL with a less than 3/vehicle capacity that doesn't have a height requirement. I know I've seen 3 on Buzz before as well as Autopia.

Have a great trip!

re: Dumbo and 3 riders...if you google Disneyland + Seal or Heidi Klum, you'll find a highly publicized picture of Seal with his two sons on Dumbo...

It's been at least a year since I've taken my daughter to Bug's Land, but here's how it was then: Flik's Flyers will hold all of you (We've done 2 adults and 2 kids). Ladybug Boogie will hold all of you, but it's not like the teacups, it does spin by itself (although not fast). The Chew-Chew train may only fit two of you in a seat, but it's so slow, short and gentle that you could probably put one of the kids in front of you and grab him if you had to. I think you'd be limited to two in the bumper cars. Heed the warning signs outside of "It's Tough to be a Bug." That show is intense, and doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the little kid stuff in the land.

I can't remember what it is off the top of my head, but the bumper cars in Bug's Land do have a height requirement, so this may be out anyways because of the 2yo. I know the lowest height requirement for both parks is Matterhorn/Gadget's Go Coaster at 35", so it's at least that and probably a little higher because of the lap bar restraint.

We took our daughter to DL when she was only 18 months old. She was able to go on pretty much everything with us, except for the height required rides, such as Matterhorn Mountain, Splash Mountain, Indiana Jones, Space Mountain, Big Thunder, etc.

I know for a fact that in DL the three of you can ride, Winnie the Pooh, Alice & Wonderland, Peter Pan, Mr. Toad, Snow White, Dumbo, Mad Tea Party, Storyland, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Finding Nemo, Pinocchio. Some rides like Buzz Light Years Interactive Astro Blaster, only allows two people to play but I'm sure the three of you can ride if you want to allow your sons to play.
