I am going to surprise my kids with our next trip. The trip is not a surprise, just the dates - we are going 1 month earlier than we had originally planned. Anyway - I thought it would be fun on the car ride if when they asked where we are going, I handed them maps and said, you tell me. Then they could pour over the maps on the long drive. So, where can I request maps from? I know our local AAA does not have them.

You could call Guest Relations and ask them to send you a couple.

If guest services can't send you those maps, I have two extras from my last trip-- I would be happy to mail them to you. The covers have Halloween stuff all over them though, because I went in September.

If you just want street maps, you can use mapquest.com, maps.google.com or any number of online map services. Then just print them out. You can also find some interesting tourist related maps online, like maps showing various landmarks and such.

I am wanting to do the same thing for our next trip, surprise them on the way down that is. I have been thinking about what I could give them to open on the way down that would let them know, but haven't made a decision yet. The maps are a great idea! Not only are they cheap but it would give them something to do and let their excitement build even more. So thanks!
