We stopped by the Disney booth at the PF Chang's RnRAz expo and learned that there would be an extra medal for anyone who completes one of the WDW races and the Disneyland event in the same year. We were also told that Disney is looking at the possibility of hosting races in their other parks -- Paris, Tokyo, etc. You should have seen the glint in my husband & son's eyes at the prospect of more Disney medals and having a compelling reason to visit the other parks. I was busy thinking I would have to take a second job to pay for it all! :eek:

They posted it in the Feb E Newsletter too. The rumor started flying around at the end of Jan!

Yes, the people at the WDW expo told me about the extra medal. I'm not sure I will sign up for the DL half, but I'm considering it because of that special medal.
