I usually go to Disneyland every 3 years :( We usually stay at the Hojo at an avg 129.00 a night. We would at least once stay at D.H.. We usually go at the beginning of December for about 10 days. I have read that A.P.ers usually get D.H. for around $159.00 a night. I am contemplating getting an A.P. for $259.00. but when i do a quick check on D.H. availability during the start of December, i cant find 10 days in a row. My Question. Has anyone ever stayed at D.H. for an extended length of time and get the $159.00 A.P rate? And has anyone done this in early December.

Thanks

The special AP rates for that time aren't out yet. I think it only goes through May so far, or maybe June.

If I were booking there, though, I would call them. Their online reservations just don't seem to work all that well, IMO. And you could see if you could at least book with the normal AP discount for that time.

I don't know what size room you normally book at HoJo, but have you ever looked to see if you could get the Entertainment Book rate there? Call them directly, or try code SD50 on hojoanaheim.com, going day-by-day for the dates you need, to find that amazing rate (can be 59 or 74 depending on standard vs premium room, when the EB rate is available). Then all you need is the card from an Entertainment Book from any area. Also the HoJo offers a 20% discount for AP holders, so even if you couldn't get the DLH you might get HJ for a lower rate. :D

Good luck with your DLH quest!

A heads up if you are planning on staying that many nights....You may also need to break up your reservation into more than 1 since you probably won't get $159.00 on the weekend at DLH. Example, if you are traveling Monday-Sunday and Monday-Thursday is $159.00 per night and Friday and Saturday nights are $209 per night then they will charge you $209 each night. This has happened many many times to me and other padders. So what you do is make one ressie for Monday - Thursday at $159 and another Friday - Sunday at $209. Then they *link* the 2 reservations and you most likely won't have to switch rooms, just re-check in at the front desk. Yes a pain, but worth the extra savings per night.

Great Info ! I need two doubles or queens. We would be a family of four. I wouldn't even mind Splitting the days between DH and P.Pier just to try both . Thanks for the heads up . Scheduling conflicts have just come up and we are now looking at Early December 2009 instead of 2008. :(

If you switch between any of the resort hotels the bellhops will bring your luggage over for you. :)
