Inquiring minds (and those with reservations!) want to know!!!:p ourtrip 03-02-2008, 07:51 PM We ate there in february for a late lunch/early dinner. had a nice window seat and were able to watch the 4:00 parade while we ate. the decor, building and atmosphere were very nice. the food was good, but not great and the service was fine as well. interesting selections and there is something for everyone. if you're making a day out of AK then this is a great choice. Drince88 03-03-2008, 04:53 AM I just made reservations for May, so I'm excited. I'd tried to make them for the day that AK has the evening EMHs - and there was nothing available!!! I want to try it enough that I made them for the next day, which totally messes with my plans! I just have to decide if I want to go to AK to experience the after dark atmosphere AND then go the next day, too! cheshirecatgirl 03-05-2008, 07:33 AM I ate there on Christmas Day. I had the lettuce cups appetizer and the honey chicken entree. Both were delicious! I would definitely go there again. And I loved the decor, and all the servers were really nice. AVP 03-05-2008, 08:29 AM Here's the current menu. (http://www.mouseplanet.com/guide.php?pg=BFB402) We ate there on the last day of our whirlwind menu-update tour, and we had about 45 minutes to get in and out before we had to leave AK for the airport. I was ravenous - something about spending the past 72 hours photographing menus?? - and so we ordered two appetizers and two entrees. I was told that the pork pot stickers were excellent, but I did not try one because I was entirely too busy inhaling the wok-fried green beans. One of us had the chicken lo mein, the other had the honey chicken, and both were good. (I prefer the honey chicken from Nine Dragons (http://www.mouseplanet.com/guide.php?pg=BDD402)) The service was excellent - we told our server that we HAD to get out of there by a certain time, and he made sure that happened. He was great with the refills and requests (extra sauce, etc) too. Take a look at the menu, and if you think you'd like the food, you probably won't be disapointed by the service and atmosphere. AVP Wfoxx 03-07-2008, 11:59 AM We just ate there Feb.12th. the service was great our server Alessandra was great and funny. Efoxx had the steak and shrimp and I had the mahi mahi which was fantastic, We were on the dp so we got got dessert. Remind me...(cuz I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around all this!) on the dp - NO appetiser, but YES dessert. Right? Drince88 03-07-2008, 01:28 PM Remind me...(cuz I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around all this!) on the dp - NO appetiser, but YES dessert. Right? Standard dining plan - correct. Wfoxx 03-07-2008, 06:16 PM Yep Drince you are correct! houseofmouse 03-17-2008, 02:14 PM We ate there last week. While the food was good, honey chicken and my one son got the ribs. For the price you pay we could have used a bit more of the chicken. We counted I got 8 pieces of chicken and a ton of rice and my son had 7 pieces of chicken and hubby also had 8 pieces. I shared with my 9 year old DD and thought there might be a bit more chicken to divide up between the two of us. As far as a good value for the cost, um I have to say no. As far as taste goes it was yummy. Our server was okay, this was our anniversary dinner and I noted it on our ressies and not one person said a thing and we wore our buttons! That was a bit disappointing.:( We ate at Tony's in 2006 and got a free dessert and the waiters all came by and said something. Anyway I digress, good food not a good value. If you are on the dining plan then I guess it works okay. firetwirl07 03-17-2008, 05:24 PM We ate there for the first time on 03-03-08 for lunch. I loved the atmosphere. Unfortunately I was very sick that afternoon. I got up enough energy to make it to our adr at 12:30, and ride 2 rides before collapsing back at the hotel for the rest of the day. I had the mahi mahi and the sorbet. My boyfriend had the tempura shrimp and the brownie sundae. Both were delicious. |
