I am confused. If you are on the DDP, do you get a bill at the end of your meal which is the tip? Do you get this at full buffets too? I wish you could pick an appitizer or dessert. Trying to decide if it is worth it.

No quite like that.

You get a bill for the entire meal including any items which are not covered by DDP, such as appetizers or specialty drinks. There is a subtotal, so you can see what the effective total amount, including tax, is. Then they will subtract the amount that is covered by DDP. If you have only had items covered by the DDP it will show a zero balance. At that point you are expected to add a tip, paying for it in any manner you choose.

However, if your party is six or more people, even if you ask for separate checks, the 18% gratuity will be shown on the bill and payment for that amount is expected.
