They are selling tix for $46.99 for addmission after 5 what if we are in when gates open will we be asked to leave?

I don't know. But I take offense at having Mardi Gras parties during Lent and after Easter. And then there's this: And no Mardi Gras party would be complete without all the cuisine and music that's made The Big Easy famous.The musical groups listed sure aren't very New Orleans-y.

And the offense is NOT directed at you, Aussie-Bill - it sounds like it would be a fun thing to do. And if they are doing parades with throws (anything thrown from the float, including beads, small plush animals, frisbees, footballs, cups, etc) - the "proper" thing to say is "Throw me something Mister" :D

Admission into the Mardi Gras Party is included in your regular admission ticket. The only "bad" part of the entire Mardi Gras celebration is that the food, music and party are ONLY on Saturdays. Every other day of the week has no celebration at all. I find it very disappointing because they have all kinds of food booths around for Mardi Gras and they are all closed except Saturday.
