- Thoughts? It is only $123 for a mini suite in September. After a pleasant stay with my DD at the Tropicana I have finally convinced my DH that we could save a lot of money by staying on Harbor. Besides, I think it is closer...

We stayed at the BWPPI last September. We found the room clean and comfortable and the staff was great. We needed to upgrade at the last minute as my 16 year old decided to go and we needed the sofa sleeper. They gal that I spoke to when I called to upgrade was very helpful and pleasant.
BWPPI is one of the closest hotels to the park other than the GC. That was the other reason we decided to stay there.

We stayed there our first trip - we liked the hotel . . .close and convienient - but we felt a little cramped (we had the room with the two queens and the hide-a-bed) with three kids and three adults so I don't know - I felt like the rooms at Desert Inn were bigger for the same type of room but it is a "little further". I'm not sure if the mini suite is the same as the one we had though? Just thought I would share my experience. :)

i stayed at the BWPPI last may and i throughly enjoyed it. we had a 2nd floor room towards the middle of the building and it was nice and quiet. the room is still one large room- there's only a half wall between the two queens and the sofa bed, but there was still plenty of room.
along with partyoffive, i also stayed at the Desert Inn (coincidentally the next night). there wasnt too many differences, but i agree that the Desert Inn did feel bigger- probably because the sofa sleeper has its own room. the sink/counter space wasnt as big as BWPPI, which may not be of concern to you, but it was to 6 college gals. :D
ive run the gauntlet of hotels from half a star to 5, and best western is a solid choice- it's dependable and clean, service is good, and the price is nice. :)
