Hi, We are going to Disneyland next week and I saw someone post pictures of real size lightning mcqueen and other disney cars. Are they located somewhere in the park?

Can't say for sure, but I think they were over by Soarin for a while.

i was at DCA in late may (for the pirates premiere) last year and then had like a meet and greet. it was outside of the "palace of fine arts" movie attraction- the actual name escapes me- and it was right after the high school musical show. but again, that was a year ago.

As of last December they had moved Lightening and Mater to a new location, across from Taste Pilots Grill/Soaring over California, there was a CM to supervise the location and a fast pass photographer when we were there.

They aren't there anymore. You can see where they were but they are gone. I'm glad I hadn't said anything to my DS because he loves Lightning. He never even knew he missed them.

I saw them when we were there in December across from Soarin' too, but when we were there the first week of February they weren't there...

They have been removed from the park in preparation of them being part of the new Pixar Play Parade in DCA starting March 14th.

The cars originally drove up and down the Parade Route, but last year, they decided to turn them into a photo op, where the cars were parked and left in the same location 24 hours a day.

They had to go back to the shop for a tune up and preparations to once again be "moving" vehicles.

So, sorry to say, your timing will not allow you to see the cars.
