Hey there...usually we go mid-late September or October to Disneyland. Well, with our APs expiring Sept 16th, we are planning to arrive Thursday after Labor day - and stay until the passes expire (we're spending 12 nights at Hojo yay for the Entertainment rate!).

So...my question is...when do these two things normally close for the season? Is it RIGHT after labor day? Or do they normally go through that week? I haven't seen the normal Haunted Mansion in YEARS! And I think it would be cool. Also, I have NEVER EVER seen the Electrical parade - I would really like to, but we don't have the option of going during the summer (too expensive) and we can't go over labor day weekend (family reunion).

I am also wondering with Labor day being SO early this year (on Sept 1st)...is it possible they won't close the HM quite as early?

The Haunted Mansion will close on Tuesday, September 2nd, as Disney wants to get HalloweenTime stated as quickly as they can. The goal is to have Haunted Mansion Holiday open for Friday, September 19th.

As for the Electrical Parade, it will be cut back starting in Mid-August to weekends only, and then more than likely will be placed on Hiatus on September 1st, as they will want to run the new Pixar Play Parade, and the budget only allows for one to operate in the off-season.

:crying: It's kind of what I figured...but I was HOPING for better. I have yet to see the Electrical parade...well maybe we'll get moved to California, Vegas, or Arizona and we can come more often lol. (We're actually awaiting orders - of course we've got 4-5 months before we find out anything...then we won't be moving until after October or so...but we're hoping something that's an easy drive to either Disneyland or Disney World lol).
