Hey everyone!

Thomas and I are regulars at the Disneyland boards, but this is our first disneyworld post! We're planning a trip for late may (i'm bursting with excitment!) I (the tiff part of the name) haven't been since i was like 13 (25 now) and Thomas has never been! We're looking at moderate hotels since we don't want to spend a fortune on our accomadations, but want to have a fun hotel, and we're trying to find a place that would be good for a couple that likes to have fun. Romantic is nice, but not necessary, we play like little kids and think that's just about as romantic as you can get!

Any good ideas? We're look at the Port Orleans hotels, and leaning towards the River one, but in all honesty we have no idea and would LOVE for someone to reccomend. Please help :) Oh and if we were to splurge...what about the Deluxe (but chances are we won't...but it's nice to dream :))

I have never stayed at a moderate ,but I can tell you Animal Kingdom is a great hotel if you decide on Deluxe ,and not very expensive either . My husband and I found it very romantic.

For opinions on moderate resorts, check out this thread (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?t=92726)

Some codes recently came out that include parts of May - you may want to get going on making your reservations before your choice is made for you based on availability. The sooner in May you can go, the better. Florida schools are starting to get out in May, and things just get busier.

Barring the deluxe fantasies I would consider either of the Port Orleans resorts. I personally think FQ is a bit higher, but either would be lovely for a couple.

My husband and I spent our 2nd honeymoon at Riverside and absolutely loved it. However we have 3 kids and were looking for some peace and romance. I wouldn't consider it "fun" for a couple but we took a nice quiet walk and a swim in a quiet pool every night.
We have also stayed at Caribbean Beach with the kids but liked Riverside so much we're taking the kids back there this May.
