Lecture by Disney Author and Producer Jeff Kurtti at Studio Chapter Meeting, September 15th
The Studio Chapter welcomes renowned author of Disney books Jeff Kurtti as our guest speaker at our next meeting on September 15th.
Jeff has written several books on the art and creation of Disney animated features, including "The Mythical World Of Atlantis," "Dinosaur: The Evolution of An Animated Feature," "The Art of Mulan," "A Bug's Life: The Art and Making of an Epic of Miniature Proportions," and the upcoming “Treasure Planet: A Voyage of Discovery.” He is also co-author of "Since the World Began," a history of Walt Disney World published for its 25th anniversary. In addition, Jeff has also produced documentaries and bonus material for many Disney video and DVD releases, including the upcoming Beauty and the Beast Special Edition DVD, which he will be discussing (and possibly previewing) at the meeting. We’ll also be holding a raffle for fabulous Disney prizes, so please join us for a fun and fascinating afternoon!
The Studio Chapter meets at 1:00 p.m. in the Mary Pickford Education Center at the Autry Museum of Western Heritage, located in Griffith Park (directly across from the L.A. Zoo) at 4700 Zoo Drive (Western Heritage Drive), near the intersection of the Golden State (5) and Ventura (134) Freeways. There is plenty of free parking. Non-members are welcome to attend.
