Thanks, ~leah WDW heart 02-18-2008, 07:12 PM Just attended a couple of weeks ago. I definitely think it was worth the extra money. It was incredible. You really see the Magic Kingdom dressed up in a different light. We ran on and off rides and rarely waited in line for anything. We didn't see the parade but the fireworks were breathtaking. Almost all the kids were dressed up and I saw many adult pirates as well. frdeb1999 02-20-2008, 10:01 PM Deffinately worth the extra cost. It was wonderful being able to get on so many of the rides so quickly. We were able to see parts of the parade, but concentrated mostly on rides and pics with characters that were dressed in pirate gear. The fireworks in itself are worth the extra price....they are fabulous! :) runner110 02-22-2008, 11:12 AM I think that it's worth it if you have realistic expectations. We went in late January, and I really underestimated how many people would be there (that applied to all of the parks for the whole trip, but especially the P&P party). While some attractions (eg., BTMRR) we walked right on, Space Mountain never had less than an hour wait, and Peter Pan's flight was 75 minutes at 9:00. I was really surprised at the number of adults without kids. I guess people buy the party tickets assuming that lines will be shorter. It was a neat experience, but I'm not sure that I'd do it again. houseofmouse 02-23-2008, 01:13 PM It is a surprise for my DD on our upcoming trip and I am so excited. I have secretly packed her Belle dress for her to change into that night. :) While riding some rides with no wait is a bonus it is not the only reason we are going. I want to see the special parade, fireworks and fun acitivites and interactions I have heard are there. Hopefully add some memories to last us a lifetime, not to mention some really fun pictures to scrapbook. :) cheshirecatgirl 02-23-2008, 06:06 PM Try to see the special characters! Cinderella's stepmother and stepsisters are there behind the castle at various times, and they are absolutely hilarious! And try to see Jasmine's Royal Guard Training by the Jungle Cruise, very cool little show. Those kinds of things, in addition to the cool parade and AWESOME fireworks make the P&P party very worthwhile! And it is fun to dress up and get chocolates and beads! I have been to three of them in the past year. I wish I could go this year! |
