I was curious what is going on the weekend of Feb 29. It seems to be really hard to get a hotel. I was thinking of taking a last minute trip over with just my DD. Any idea?

That is the weekend of the Los Angeles Catholic Archdiocese Religious Education Congress at the Anaheim Convention Center. I don't know this year's total but in the past it's been over 20,000 people. The Marriott is usually booked a year out for the weekend. Hotels are always a problem for the weekend of Congress. The Congress won't affect DLR too badly because most people will be at the Convention all weekend. There are youth groups that come to town for Thursday and may be at the parks here and there but not much. Adrienne |
