Well, here we go. I grew up in Los Angeles with extremely frequent visits to Disneyland ever since I can remember. My wife Jennifer & I have taken our children to disneyland every year since our oldest, Sydney(now 11) was 3. Emma(9) was along on that trip also. Aine, our little tornado(2) first visited my favorite place in the world New Years Day 2006. A sad day in history as it was our last as California residents. We were on our way to Georgia, our new home with a job transfer. You all know how that goes. Last year at this time, we went to some friends in Jacksonville & then to Tampa to Jens grandparents for a few days. Guess what stunk - we were forced to drive RIGHT BY DISNEYWORLD!!! We could not go because of the cost, not the most profitable years of our lives but oh-well. I thought the girls were going to kill us. Fast forward to 2008. We are going to Jens grandparents again this Saturday for three days and then guess where? Yup, & the girls have NO CLUE. We are on a budget, 2 days at the park, and staying at Pop Century but I am not complaining. I am just happy to go. As of this moment we are only going to visit the Magic Kingdom as I'm worried about crowds. The resorts booked fairly fast & I know it's winter break for alot of schools so we want to make sure Aine gets the most out of her visit. She will be three in April and watches Disney movies soooo much lately I know she'll have a blast! I'll update when we get back and let you know if I ate my words. Any useful comments will be helpful as we are west coast Disney freaks and have to adjust to our new surroundings & I have'nt been to Disneyworld since ohhhh....1980? Nice. Talk to you soon!

How exciting! Well, obviously you know you'll only be sampling a little taste of the "world", my advice is the same as you'd do at DL -- to head to the park at opening with a game plan for what you want to do, and then just relax and enjoy. You probably know this too, but it's worth it to review the MK map before you go. When you're so used to DL, it can throw you off a bit cause MK is just enough different that it's easy to get disoriented. I think you'll all enjoy POP, it should be a lot of fun for the girls.

Have a fantastic time -- can't wait to hear about it!

Sounds wonderful!! Just make the best use of Fast Passes (FPs) since you are there for 2 days and it may be crowded due to school breaks. You may want to send one adult to get FPs for Philharmagic and some of the other Fantasyland rides and then meet up at another ride. Remember to look at your FPs to see when your next eligible time is to get more FPs. If you work the FP system correctly you will get the most out of your day without long lines. Have a great trip! :)

15 days until I am there at the Beach Club!! March 3rd to March 8th!!!

I Hope A Great Time Is Had By All. As Mentioned Above Get There @ Rope Drop Have A Game Plan . A Tip Take A Early Lunch Say 11:15 Or 11:30 Rest & Then Hit It Again . You Will Be Surprised @ How Many People Try & Eat Right @ 12:00 . So Hopefully The Lines Should Not Be To Bad Between 12& 1 . Do Not Try & Do Everything In One Day But Most Of All Enjoy T-30 Working Days & Counting Till P.o.riverside & Flower & Garden Show & Paul Revere & The Raiders:d::~d
