any opinions on these two dishes?? they both look sooo good!

My sister had the roasted pepper in October and it was REALLY yummy. We even asked for the recipe, but it never came. It was a vegetarian (maybe even vegan) dish.

I think it would totally depend on my mood if I wanted beef or a veggie meal. But she did really enjoy the pepper (and she's not a vegetarian, it just looked that good to her at the moment).

I haven't had either but just in case you were thinking of soing this route...the meatloaf and the PB&J shake...ehhh

I had the pot roast and I was really looking forward to it because like you said, it looked real good. I remember others having it the last time we went as well as seeing it on the Food Network.

It was not all that great, I hate to say. I wouldn't order it again.

The cut I got was somewhat fatty and overall just had a "processed" aftertaste to it. Maybe your mileage may vary.

I did have the meat loaf one time and it was great. But that was a few years ago. That would be a dish I would try again if I decide go back there.

Had the pot roast, not a fan. It was okay, not great. There were hardly any vegtables and it was huge. Like I just ordered a platter of meat. I agree with GusMan, a little too fatty and overdone as well. I would have been ill if I ate that much meat. I can't remember what DH got.

I tried the pot roast at 50's, but I really liked the pot roast at LTT better. I think I'll get the meat loaf next time, it looked really good.

You didn't ask, but the fried boursin cheese was very good!

I'm going against the majority and saying that I did like the pot roast at 50'sPTC. :) The pot roast meal is one that June Cleaver would serve her family, don't you think? Besides the interaction of the wait staff, my favorite part of the PTC experience is the desserts.

If you want pot roast--go to the Hanging Tree Tavern in MK. The BEST!
