My family is planning on visiting Disney this November and trying to decide whether to book two rooms at one of the value resorts or all 6 of us (3 adults, 3 kids) stay in the family suite at All Star Music. I was wondering how big the refrigerator is? Also, is the size of the suite with three adults going to be super cramped or would adjoining rooms be a better option? One more question, have you found any of the deluxe resorts to be comparable in price for 6 people?

The fridge is a dorm-sized fridge, not a full-sized one.
IIRC, the room itself was created from two standard-sized rooms, so it is somewhat comparable in size as two adjoining rooms. For more info on its layout you can peek at this link. (http://www.mousesavers.com/allstarmusicsuites.html)

As for similar Deluxe resort accommodations, you will pay more, that is for sure. There are different options from Villa accommodations to Junior suites as well. It is really going to depend on what kind of sleeping arrangements that best suit your needs.

ETA: Here is a link (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?t=89488&highlight=junior+suite) to a past convo regarding one of the WL Deluxe rooms that also sleep 6.

We have previously had 2 adjoining rooms at Pop Century, and loved it. We traveled with my 3 1/2 year old, 9 month old baby, and 3 adults. We could put the kids in one room, and get ready in the other room for the next day. It also worked great for naps. But, they do not guarantee the adjoining rooms unless your "kids" outnumber your adults. We were able to work our way into 2 adjoining rooms though.

you might also want to investigate a cabin at Fort Wilderness. We haven't stayed there yet, but are considering it. There is a bedroom and kitchen. It sounds like a neat place to stay, but it seems kind of spread out. We do like that it is only a boat ride from MK though.

Thanks for the link to the layout of the family suite!! We have been looking for that!
