Some folks and I are planning on taking a VIP tour in a couple of months--for those of you who might have done this before--what would you recommend for us to plan other than the following:

Fantasmic seating
Parade Seating
Electrical Parade seating
Alladin seating

Is it possible to schedule rides on the Lily Belle as part of the VIP Tour? Any other tips or ideas would be great!

Yes. We just did that in December on our first ever VIP tour. Basically, the cast member will come with you for as long as you schedule the tour (or you can leave it open) and will do whatever he or she can to make your stay that much more special. We really wanted to do the Lily Belle, so she made sure that happened. They can also make lunch reservations on the fly.

Some things they cannot do are get you to the front of ride lines or get you into Club 33 (I asked....). :)

If there are things you think you might want to do, ask the person who booked it for you and, if it is possible, they will let your tour operator know.

If you are traveling with kids, I would HIGHLY recommend our tour operator - Mirna. She was absolutely fantastic.

I don't recommend the parade seating. If you are the only ones there and get the front row, its good, but they have several rows and you cannot see from any row except the front row.

Basically, the guide is similar to a concierge for you. They can make ressies, they will run fastpasses for you (while you are on Soarin, they will go to Screamin and get fastpasses and meet you back at Soarin, that type of thing.) Our last guide got my son up to the Pilot House on the Mark twain so he could propose. They can arrange for you to ride in the front cab of the Monorail (or my preference, the rear cab.) Those are just a few more ideas.
