We usually stay at the Grand however with the recent price increase we are thinking of booking with a Good Neighbor Hotel.

Can anyone help me with the names of two or three of the CLOSEST hotels to the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance. We want the shortest walk possible.

Thanks in Advance

Disneyma :)Honestly, the following list is all "close". They are all within 2-3 minutes of the same time.

Absolute closest:
Park Vue Inn
Park Place Inn

Going out one each
Desert Inn and Suites (1 min further)
Tropicana (1 min further)
Carousel Inn (2 Min further)
Del Sol (2 min further)
Camelot Inn (3 min further)
Anaheim Inn (3 min further)
Fairfield Inn (4 min further)
Ramada Inn Maingate (4 min further)
Hojos, Anaheim Plaza, and Candy Cane (5 mins)
And just for good measure
Alpine Inn during busy times is very close to the Timon Tram and fast if the tram is running.

Candy Cane Inn is the same basic distance as the Howard Johnson's and the Paradise Pier Hotel, about 6/10th of a mile from the lobby to the Main Entrance Plaza.

As mentioned above, there are a group of hotels between the HoJo's and CCI on Harbor that are closer, with BWPPI and Park Vue being the ones right at the Main Pedestrian Crosswalk on Harbor Blvd.

Not a criticism, more like a giggle - I don't think it's even that much further! LOL. Maybe 30 seconds.

After staying at the DLH for the last several visits, my daughter and I stayed at the Tropiciana last weekend. It was clean, close to the park, not very noisy (we were on the 3rd level near the breakfast room) and just right for the two of us. The two of us would definitely stay there again without my DH and DS. BUT because of a lack of storage space I would not recommend one room for a family of 4 or more. It also was gloomy with the blackout curtains shut. But overall well worth the money!

We stay at the Best Western Park Place Inn. We've stayed there 3 years in a row & will continue to stay there (unless we make come into lots of money to stay at GCH). Our 1st stay was at Paradise Pier but the walk was too far. We really enjoy the quick walk from the Park Place.

We like the bigger frig in the room as well as being able to leave our van in their lot after we check out & do DL on our last day/night there before driving home.

I can't compare the others that are right there as well. Once we find something that works we rarely take the chance on change!

We always stay at the Tropicana, we drive up in morning, they let us park there, then check in when we return from DL that night. My Husband and I had the nice room over the bridge last spring, and it was really nice. The regular rooms are always great too, the best part is, it's closer than the parking lot, you just walk out of the park and take a left....
