We have deluxe APs and a Saturday is blocked off during our next trip. Someone told me I can purchase a day ticket to get into the park. Does anyone know the price and can I purchase it in advance or do I have to go to a ticket booth?

The price is $40, and you cannot buy them in advance, you get them at the regular ticket window, just show your annual pass, and you can purchase one. (it takes a little longer than buying a regular one day ticket, because they have to input your name and AP number to print it on the ticket)

The ticket is good for both parks (like the AP)

Guests Services often has shorter lines than the regular ticket booths. You can get a blockout pass there too. We went there for ours and we hardly had any wait. :)
