I bought my tickets as part of my package through Disneyland travel - does anyone know what the difference is to upgrade these tickets to an AP is (adult and child)? I don't live in Cali so I would have to do a Delux AP upgrade (I think - is this right?)

The deluxe AP is $259. Subtract the value of your ticket and that is the difference.

Thanks - but how do I figure the value of my tickets? My reservations don't list anything but a total price and I don't have tickets in hand yet so I don't know if it's listed on there or not- are package tickets just regular ticket prices?

They are basically the same price as the Advance Purchase price at Disneyland.com.
So first, are they the "2 days free" tickets?, If so (and they have to be used by late April), then if you got the 5 days version, that is actually a 3 day ParkHopper, with 2 extra days.
If you are coming in summer, it is the regular Advance Purchase price.
You do NOT get the Main Entrance Ticket Window price.
You can see the current prices at Disneyland.com

Thanks a bunch - they are the three day park hoppers then -
Also, is it true that we need to use our magic morning and toontown morning madness BEFORE we turn our tickets into AP's?

TTMM is a separate voucher. Once you have used the Magic Morning, and any blackout days, you can upgradee and get the discounts for dining.
