Hubby and I are planing a possible trip to USF/IOA & SW this fall and are looking for clean, convenient, inexpensive hotels with shuttle service to these parks as we hate renting a car. Any suggestions??

Also, I have read about Clarion Universal and Howard Johnson EnchantedLand hotels and they sound perfect. Any opinions/experiences with either of these resorts??

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me :D

We're leaving 7/26 for WDW (9 days), USF/IOA (2 days), Cocoa Beach (3 days) - it's the first time in almost 11 years that we've been to USF! We're staying at the Sheraton Studio Towers Hotel on Int'l Drive. I believe it's right across from USF (crossing I-4?). They do have shuttle service, but I won't know more about that until I come back. My rate - $79/nite - deluxe room, top floors (21st?). Joined their membership club *free* and got that great rate! Very art deco hotel - check out their website.

FYI - I joined Connections discount club - my credit card offered a free 30 day trial membership, so I checked it out - I got 2 Adult 2-day USF/IOA Escape passes for $153.10 TOTAL!!! They ship priority/express - free! What a deal!

I just reserved a room at $185 for 3 nights at the Clarion for the end ov Nov. to visit IOA/USF prior to visiting WDW for 10 days, I felt it was adequite and close to the park, did you check out the reviews here on MP? I also booked it through MP, no deposit is needed, they say they offer a shuttle service to IOA/USF.

Thankyou both so much for your replies. We actually stumbled across a deal in the Sunday paper yesterday from our regular local travel agent that would require a stay at the Clarion Universal, so if hubby says yes then I guess we'll deal with it. Hey- I'll be there won't I ?!?!

Thanks again!
