Is there any nifty technological way to "ignore" specific padders like we can click "ignore this thread" & not see it any more? Or am I stuck trying to ignore someone the old-fashioned way?

Shayna, yes. Go to the user cp. There is an Ignore List button. Then just type in the padders screen name. The only problem is when someone quotes the ignored person, you will see it in the quote box.

Go to User CP, Under the Settings & Options there is an edit ignore list, just type the screen name in there and it will add it to your list.

It is an invaluable tool! :)

Anyone else have problems with the ignore function sometimes resetting? Twice in the last month my ignore list has erased or reset itself. Weird.

That is very strange . . . I haven't had anything like that happen. Of course, if I don't log in to read then my ignore isn't on but if I do log in everything seems to stay put.

Hopefully Andrew will have an answer for you.

I really like having the ignore thread feature now. It is almost more useful than the ignore poster because it literal ignores the whole thread where ignore poster doesn't "ignore" if someone quotes a post.

As for lists resetting, it may have had something to do with the recent system upgrade if it happened right around the same time. If it happens again when we are not doing a system upgrade, let me know.
