I need some advice. Is the Cirque show really worth the money? There will be 4 of us (40, 38, 9, & 7). It will cost our family over $300 for an hour and a half of entertainment. We are seriously considering it, but would like some opinions. No one that we know that has been to Disneyworld has been to the show.

Split decision here: My DH says absolutely yes. Me? Not so much. I think it would be a great date, but by the time you add in the money for the kids, it is REALLY expensive.
I guess it boils down to whether the kids like that sort of thing or are good about sitting in that kind of environment. I have one son that would LOVE it and one that would HATE it. Therefore, it's on the back-burner for now and DH and one son watch Cirque ad nauseum whenever there's a marathon on Bravo. :p

Another split decision. This was THE highlight of my trip, I could have watched it every day and not got bored. The performers are magnificently skillful. However, my children, especially my DS 8, got bored half way through. I can't imagine how but he did. It is expensive but I thought it was worth it personally.

I also have tickets for Cirque and hope I have not made a mistake since they are non transferable and non refundable , I am out about 125.00 since my grandaughter can't go now. If read some of the past post they say it is worth it though.

I saw it about a week ago. We really enjoyed it, but we were all adults. I'm not so sure my kids would have liked it, but there is so much to see since they have many things going on at the same time. I couldn't decide whether to watch the main act going on, or watch the unusual things that were going on around the act. When it was done, I really wan't ready to go, I wanted more.

You can cut costs to below $300 by using our new partner, Orlando Fun Tickets. They have a deal on La Nouba tickets (http://www.orlandofuntickets.com/Cirque-Du-Soleil/), and you can get Category 2 seating for the four of you for about $281. Check them out!

I've seen it three times and have LOVED it. There is truly no show like Cirque - the talent is phenominal, and i think its got that "Wow" factor for adults and kids alike. There's nothing innapropriate or scarey. But its really up to you and what you think your family enjoys. Its like going to NYC and paying to see a show on Broadway. Its a once in a lifetime type show (there are Cirque's everywhere but la nouba is only there). . .
