Is the Water park option worth the money? I am taking my 7 y/o daughter to Disney and we are planning on doing all 4 parks in 7 or 8 days. Do you think we should do the water park? My daughter wants to. Is it worth the time and money?
And, with the water park, fun, and more option, is that both water parks or just one? How does all of that work?

If you are only planning to have one water park day you are much better off purchasing separate water park tickets.
If you buy the Water Parks Fun and More option to your MYW ticket it will cost $53.25 (including tax) per person, adult or child. It will add one WPF&M entry per day on the base or hopper ticket (but two entries on a one day ticket).
If you purchase one day water park tickets they cost $41.54 adult and $35.15 child.
This upgrade may be done at any Park (including water parks or TTC) ticket booth or Guest Relations Office. If it is on your room key it can also be done at the Resort Lobby Concierge.
(Note each person must have their own ticket. Even though it adds multiple entries to your ticket, you can only use one ticket for one person.)
If you purchase the WPF&M option it will allow the same number of entries to the "minor" parks (BB, DQ, PI, TL, WWS) as the number of days for the "major" parks (AK, DHS, EC, MK).
So, going to BB in the morning and TL in the afternoon will use up two of the WPF&M entries. If you do not go to a major park that day it will not affect your major park days.
Rather than start a new thread, I will piggyback on this one.
In everyone's opinion, what is the best water park?
Is it possible to do two in one day?

I miss River country. . . because it was quiet. . but of the two that are remaining? I think I like Typhoon the best, but the last 2 times i've gone, Blizzard Beach has been closed for refurb (generally in the winter they close one at a time for refurb). From what i remember of Blizzard Beach though, they are both equally excellent experiences. ..
Two in one day? Can you? Yes. . . .
Would I want to? Generally, No. . .
For me, at least, we do a half day at a water park, by the tiem we've done all the rides and are waterlogged otu, we have lunch, wander a little and we're just ready to be done (and its generally busy by that point) so we head back to the hotel and change and head to Epcot or MK for the rest of the day. But thats us. . .some poeple may want to do 2 in a day.
As far as the option vs the ticket. If you only want to do it once and no other pleasure island, etc (and with a kid,i'm thinking no) , then i agree, the one day ticket is your better option. If you want ot do a couple of half days at a park, the option on the ticket is better for you. So its your choice, you know your child and how long you think she'll last at a water park. :)
Have fun!
