My daughter is interested in going to the Bibidi Bopiti Boutique (I probably butchered the spelling) and I was wondering if anyone knew about how much it costs and how far in advance you should book it. And any other information about it would be great too. Opinions as well.

Thanks.

I found this As with the current location, reservations are highly recommended (407-WDW-STYLE/407-939-7895), and can be made up to 180 days in advance. Reservations for the new Boutique are now available.

Also, here's a link (http://www.mouseplanet.com/articles.php?art=wd060213mg) to an update that has price and package info, but it's a little old, so I'm not sure how much the prices have changed.

We took my daughter last year. She was 4 and I must say that I was not at all happy with the amount of makeup that they put on her face. I was anticipating a great experience for both of us but I didn't like walking around all day with her looking like that. She also complained that they pulled her hair too tight. Within 10 minutes she wanted it out. She loved how she looked though and I never let her in on the fact that I did not. If I were to do it again I would tell them to go much easier on the makeup and to put her hair up in a more loose style. The boutique is adorable and the fair godmothers are very attentive and sweet. I just think a little girl should look like a little girl. ;)

I definitely agree. I always make sure to dress my daghter age appropriate and not in whats stylish for an adult, but made for a 5 year old, so I definitely understand what you are saying. And, my daughter also seems to have a sensitive head, at least when I do her hair, but I bet she would tough it out for them....lol....even though I don't want them to be really hurting her. And, I'm really hoping she just goes for the regular princess do.

I went ahead and made my reservation today, I had read a lot of good reviews on another website. We are going to be in Disney during Mother's Day and I made reservations for 1150 am on Mother's Day, full makeoverfor my daugher, hair and makeup for me....lol.:) And, then we have ADR for CRT at 425 that aftenoon. I think my daughter will enjoy her day and I know it will be a Happy Mother's Day for me.

We were in the Magic Kingdom last Friday and Saturday. There were little girls all over the place that had obviously been to the boutique. Most of them were in full Princess costume, heavy princess makeup, gelled down buns with tons of glitter, tiaras, some had glitter decals on their cheeks. The first one I saw, I thought, "Wow, they went all out!" But after the 50th one, I remembered seeing something on the pad about the boutique. :p It was very cute.

Unfortunately, this Princess gave birth to two daughters who are definitely Pirates! ;):p

I recall reading about one young girl who'd had too much makeup applied, and the 'head' Fairy Godmother literally wiped her face and started over, without any prompting from the parents. So if it's too much, even after you tell them to pay attention to her age, ASK them to redo it. (This report was from when they'd just started, so it may have been a training issue - but still ask!)
