I was looking through the Disneyworld website planning our first ever trip there, and they have an option for no expiration park tickets. I have been going to Disneyland for a long time, and I don't remember ever having that option at Disneyland. Has that option ever been available? Do you think it will ever be available?

The only thing I can think of is offered to CM after 20+ years of service, (I think its called a silver pass, or gold pass? I forget). If you have old coupons those don't expire and a CM can buy a park hopper with no expiration date.
But no I don't think anything like that is offered at DL.

I don't know if it's still true since I haven't bought a day pass in a long time, but single day passes and even multi day passes used to have no expiration date. I had a number of Magic Kingdom Club multi day passes that I used over a period of a couple months. I don't know if single day passes currently have an expiration date, but I believe multi day passes have to be used by a certain amount of time from the date of first use, but I'm not sure if there's an expiration for how long you have before you use that first day.

The multi-day passes have 13 days from the first day of usage before they expire.

Actually, all Disneyland Ticket Media have an expiration date now. The current date is early January, 2009. So if you buy a ticket, you don't have to use it that day (with some minor exceptions), but if you fail to use it by the end of the year, then Disney has the right to charge you the new price (and they will give you credit for the original amount paid, so long as it is totally unused).
