Can we take the monorail from DTD into the park for our EE mornings or do we have to go to the main gates for entrance?

Malcon10t 01-27-2008, 08:12 AM Can we take the monorail from DTD into the park for our EE mornings or do we have to go to the main gates for entrance? If you are staying at one of the resort hotels, you can take the Monorail. Others have said they have been able to, but when we have been there, they have asked for the charge card. That said, unless you make the first train, you will lose time entering the park. If you miss the first train, it would definitely be faster to walk. The monorail entrance is usually packed. lbrackjo 01-27-2008, 05:05 PM Plus, even if you make the first monorail, there is no guarantee on it's timing. We took it in and were about 3 minutes post opening, which for Nemo was a significant amount of time/crowd. It does, however, save the legs for those like us at the DLH. For either PPH or GCH, I'd walk. WITron 01-29-2008, 11:32 AM Even getting the first monorail, it is a little quicker to walk. I have tested this out. I rode the monorail and caught the first one, and my parents, who are not fast walkers, beat me to the LGM store. miss bianca 01-29-2008, 02:58 PM ditto on what everyone is saying. Walk! yenko427 01-29-2008, 07:19 PM I am sure it changes however we are at the DLH and opted to walk to the park for early entry. We would have been on the first monorail as there were only about 20 people in line. The monorail beat us in by about 3-4 minutes as we were probably 50-75 people back in line. I think next time I would chance it and try the monorail especially if I was going to head to Nemo. |
