Greetinings everyone,

We will be staying at Pop Century Resort in March, and some in our party have tee times at the golf courses. The official Disney web site says that complimentary taxi transportation is available from select resorts to the golf course and back. Does anyone know if Pop Century guests enjoy this benefit?

Thanks

I would think they'd offer the transportation, but even if they don't, the cost of a taxi on-site isn't huge. You could ask when you book your tee time and then just plan accordingly.

Thanks Drince88 I noticed that you're from New Orleans and that you're showing your Mardi Gras colors. Mrs Goofyfan and I are also from Louisiana; Alexandria to be exact. We lived in Metarie for a while when I worked down at Loyola, but moved to Texas so that I could get my doctorate out of State. With all of the craziness after Katrina and Rita, we decided just to stay put for a while. We sure do miss our friends and the food, and the coffee, and the festivals, and all kinds of things we took for granted when we lived there. We don't miss the mosquitos and the high humidity though!
Have a happy Mardi Gras!

The bell hop called a cab for my hubby and the bell hop gave the taxi a voucher. We were at POR, a moderate. Since the buses do not go there I'm sure the taxi cost is worth it to them just so they don't have to provide transportation to all those courses throughout the day light hours and what a round costs...an expense Disney can afford. All hubby paid was the tip. Be prepared to tip at the courses. People grab bags out of trunks quickly and same as soon as your cart pulls up at the end of the round. So remember to Bring Cash!
