I need to find 3 nights, Mar 15, 16, 17th at a WDW property. When we first talked of this 6 mos ago, we'd considered the Swan/Dolphin. What is the best way to go about this last minute? Call Disney, a travel agent, just spend a lot of time looking on line??
Any help is appreciated. Oh, and btw, it's my dh's boss who's decided 2 couples will go down to Orlando for a spring buying market. I, would not plan a WDW trip last minute! lol :)

I would call Disney directly. I would tell them when you need, how many rooms and have them tell you what is available and choose from there.
Don't worry about last minute, I had friends who woke up one morning and decided that since the kids were off on monaday and it was snowing that they would go to Disney that morning (thurs). They called while driving down and got a room that was available for the next 4 days.

Yikes, you do realize that's the week before Easter, right? The week before and the week after Easter Sunday are two of the busiest of the year.
But I agree, call Disney directly and see what they can do for you.

Yes, I do realize that's prime time. :)
I'll get a call into Disney soon... probably this evening. How late is their line open?

And if things are booked, keep calling back to check. Things do open up.
Calling has worked much better than Disney's Web site for us ...

Yes, we did. Sorry, I mentioned it in some other posts but didn't update this one. We'll be at Port Orleans Riverside for 3 nights. We wanted a moderate (which there wasn't a Value available anyway).. and it was either one of the PO or the Caribbean Beach. We're paying $225 a night... which only bums me out because back in like July we could've booked a much better price... Darn men waiting until the last min- lol! We only have 2.5 days at the parks... so I'm researching EMH, etc to optomize our time.. It'll be just a nice taste of WDW... someday we'll be taking the family.

We're paying $225 a night...
WOW!!! I'm glad you got a room, but that's a pretty high rate! I usually get the AP rate of less than $100 for a moderate, but then it's not during premium season, either.
Anyway, have fun!

Yes, it's high. But there weren't many options.. and our dates are just at the beginning of "prime season." But like I say, back in June/July when I first checked we could've done the POR for way less than $200 a night.
