Im making ADRs for vacation in July. I went on the Disney World website, and Yak and Yeti was not listed on the website. Are they taking reservations yet? And if they are not, when will they be? Thanks for any info!

Yes, they started over a month ago. I've got mine for a week and a half from now.

They are taking ADRs (mine is for lunch on March 2). Beware, though, most of the time there is a (relatively) small window for dinner. Here are the hours of the restaurant:

HOURS:
10:00am - 3:45pm - Lunch
4:00pm - Park Closing - Dinner

Park closing is usually 6:00. Not bad if you like or want an early dinner. Otherwise, the window is a huge one for lunch.:p

They were open later when Animal Kingdom had evening EMH.

I also found them not to be mentioned a number of places. For as current as the Disney site is can be a while before they mention new or changed dining locations.

This may also be that Disney does not run this location.

When we called the WDW Dine number there was no issue getting ADR's.

My wife and I ate at Yak and Yeti on an extra magic hours evening (1/16/2008). I called the reservations line from our room the night before and they had times available from 4:30pm till 7pm for two, so I was not crowded at all for the 5pm time we chose. We had reservations for the Rose and Crown, but we just weren't that wild about it the last time we ate there so we thought we would give Yak and Yeti a shot if we could get in and if we couldn't, we knew that we could always give the Rose and Crown another shot.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant and loved everything about it, so I am not sure that it is going to be an "easy" reservation for very long.

I was at AK on the same day, Fung Lu, but we were at Y&Y for lunch!

My mom and I had the steamed pot stickers for an appetizer and the maple tamarind chicken for an entree. There was no split-plate fee. Tea is kind of pricey though ($4/pot) and there's a good amount so we would probably share a pot next time.

The food was very good and service was good. We had to ask for fresh tea as it was a bit cool when it arrived, but otherwise we had an enjoyable meal.
