Which is better? The Villas show to be a little over 100 dollars cheaper. It will be me, DH, and our two girls, ages 2 and 5. We've stayed at BC before, so where are the villas in relation to the walkway to Epcot? Thanks!

The Villas is the DVC property, which is located behind the main hotel. The villas contain different size units (studio, one and two bedroom units). I assume you are referring to a studio, which is not much different than a regular hotel room, except that it has a little kitchenette. I am a DVC member, and we stayed for a weekend at the BC Villas in August. It is part of the hotel complex,but it can be a long walk, from your room, to the hotel lobby and pools. Maybe add another 5 minutes walking to the Epcot walkway, from the main hotel.

Thanks! Sounds like I'd rather stay in the hotel part. We were very close to the lobby last time and I loved the convenience. There was a lot of foot traffic going past our room during our naps, but we were so tired it didn't bother us too much. We still got our rest. :)

The villas are a bit less convenient, but they're still my pick. Ignoring the fact that I say there for free vs paying big $$$ for the non-villas side, I just prefer the villa rooms. I like the mini kitchenette part, and like that I have a bed and sleep sofa vs 2 beds. For a solo or couple, it's much nicer having the sofa instead of a 2nd bed.

I would be torn. We stayed at the studio in the villas and it seemed more cramped than the regular hotel room. Just to warn you the mini kitchenette is not much. It came equipped with a couple of mugs and paper plates. So if you are planning on using that for snacks and/or meals, you should probably bring your own paperware/dishes.
