I have just made dining reservations for my six night visit to the World (March 2-8) and I was able to get my first choice each and every time. I will arrive from Hartford at approx. 10:30, take the DME to the Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas, and check in, pick up my room key with the DDP on it, and, while my room is getting ready and my luggage is being delivered, head to the Animal Kingdom. (But we all know the routine, don't we?:p)

Here are my dining selections, day by day (* restaurants previously visited): (Day 1) Lunch - Yak and Yeti; Dinner - Boma. (Day 2) Lunch - Liberty Tree Tavern*; Dinner - California Grill. (Day 3) Lunch - Mama Melrose's*; Dinner - Flying Fish. (Day 4) Lunch - Coral Reef*; Dinner - Teppan Edo. (Day 5) Lunch - Tusker House* (in previous incarnation); Dinner - Citricos. (Day 6) Lunch - Crystal Palace; Dinner - Jiko. (Last Day) Lunch - Le Cellier*.

The restaurants were chosen based on my normal (or, perhaps, abnormal:)) routine, i.e. first full day at the MK; next to last day, MK; last day, EPCOT.

My lunch hours are generally around Noon with the exception of Yak and Yeti when I eat at 1:30. My dinner times are around 7:00 with the exception of the California Grill when I eat at 8:50.

Thanks for reading and if there are any comments, criticisms, or questions, fire away.

You've picked some nice places - but there's no way I could eat both lunch & dinner at a table service without waddling around the rest of the vacation. It's just way to much food....more than anyone (regardless of size) should be eating. Good luck!

I want to know all about Boma when you get back (I want all the 411 for when I go in May)! Have a great time! :-)

That all depends on what one orders. Two steaks in one day would be ridiculous. I imagine that one of the meals would be fish or similar. The other might be beef or similar. My appetizer could be a cheese plate, if available. Dessert will be something light, nothing heavy.

However, the important consideration will be that it be expensive!;):D:cool:

I don't know... Given the quality of food at Disney, I think I could eat all that and a heavy desert. :D

What one "should" eat should get suspended on vacation (within reason).

Your list sounds delightful. Enjoy your trip!
