We are getting APs on our trip later this month and I would like to check out a Disney property for the trip DH and I are taking in May. Just wondering if discounts for those dates would already be out or maybe there aren't any.

Just curious--I see the regular rate calendar until April but the only AP offers I see are good until March 6--this is on the Annual passholder's page. Is there something else you are looking at? I also have been wondering about whether any AP rates will be issued for the rest of March and April.

You know, I only saw that there weren't any prices in May. I didn't even pay attention to what the prices where in April. They must have just been the regular rates.

Once you have bought your AP and registered on-line (with a password etc.) then you can access the Annual Passholders' site and it has a list of "special offers" with a code. But the only code that appears now (and which has been there for several months) only runs through March 6. You can maybe call the hotel line and ask for what AP rates are for the period you have in mind. I had to do that for a late March/early April trip I have planned, but there wasn't much of a discount. I believe regular discount for AP is 10%.

Does the date start on an annual pass from the day you buy it or the day you actually first use it? In other words, how far before I need to use it should I buy it?

We bought our AP's when were at DL, upgraded our hoppers after we used our EE day. If you are looking for certain dates, PM me and I will look on the calendar for you. We got in on the AP4 rates and are doing the AP5 rates in a couple weeks at the DLH.

The only "special" AP rates are until March 6th. I believe there is a normal "AP discount" of 10% off the available rate. (Might be 20%--not completely sure--maybe someone can confirm?)

Yeah I bought one anyway for all the other discounts, and we are planning another trip later in the year so it will pay for itself either way. Still hoping they will announce a AP for end of April/May

The date starts the first day you use it.

If you upgrade from a ticket, the dates starts on the first day that ticket was used.
