Hi everyone,

I'm bringing a school group from Texas to WDW in March, and we are staying at Pop Century for 5 nights. Our school has a Florida sales tax exemption, but I haven't read anywhere about Resort taxes being waived. Here in Texas, resort taxes are not covered by the sales tax exemption. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I have some experience with this, but not with WDW or Florida in general.
Depending on the hotel, I mention the tax exemption when I make my reservation and it is usually taken care of at check in (notification of the exemption) and check out. (verification that the tax was not charged.) If you are reserving rooms only you may want to contact Disney if the same would apply there as well. Packages may be done differently, but that is just a guess. I would do so before you arrive so that you know what to expect.
