View Full Version : Anyone awaiting a discount code? dawz1026 01-08-2008, 10:25 AM Hoping a code releases for April:cool: GusMan 01-08-2008, 11:51 AM Your best best would be to keep an eye on the mousesavers.com website and/or subscribe to their newsletter. That site does a great job of informing the public of new codes and specials. MaddieMouse 01-15-2008, 05:42 AM Question: If I were to book this week, and then find a code that would work for me later (say, next week or in June or whatever), can I call and get it applied to my reservation at that time? Or would I just be out of luck? Leslie 01-15-2008, 06:08 AM We have a family suite reserved at the Allstar Music for June and I doubt I will get a discount code for that but will stay hopeful and keep looking for one. :) Drince88 01-15-2008, 06:42 AM Question: If I were to book this week, and then find a code that would work for me later (say, next week or in June or whatever), can I call and get it applied to my reservation at that time? Or would I just be out of luck? You should be able to, provided there is availability at the discount rate for your room. They usually only have a set number of rooms at each resort/of each type available at the codes. If you aren't quick enough (or if the number is 0 at your resort) you may have to switch resorts. BUT if there's availability when you call, there should be no problem applying the discount! And I would not hold my breath for a Family Suite discount coming out. Generally, suites don't have discounts - and I believe since they converted the rooms to the family suites, they've never been offered at a discount. brazen wench 01-15-2008, 10:07 AM I'm hoping. I'm looking at early May, so I just started monitoring the usual sites, and also, keeping an eye on the latest economic forecasts ;). danyoung 01-15-2008, 01:46 PM Question: If I were to book this week, and then find a code that would work for me later (say, next week or in June or whatever), can I call and get it applied to my reservation at that time? Or would I just be out of luck? That's really the best way to do it. That way you have a room booked solid in case they end up selling out. And when the discounts are released (if they're released!), you call right away and have Disney move your deposit over to the new reservation. They do this all the time with absolutely no problem. Leslie 01-15-2008, 01:53 PM I just changed my reservation from a regular value to the allstar suite and they had to cancell out my first reservation and credit my card and start all over with a new reservation and a new deposit. I asked why not just apply to my new reservation and the he said Disney doesent do that? Now im reading where they do? Wow, I got someone new I guess. But hey the guy was nice anyways.:) danyoung 01-15-2008, 02:11 PM Unless they've recently changed their policy, the guy was mistaken. I've done this TONS of times, with absolutely no trouble. GusMan 01-15-2008, 03:02 PM Im with Dan on this one... either they changed things or this guy was doing something wrong. The first thing that came to mind was that he wanted the commission on the booking but Im not sure how that works these days. In truth, I dont care if they do it this way as long as they do not cancel my first trip until I know 100% for sure that the new booking is exactly what I want. |
