Ok, I have stayed here before but am looking at trying to request a building/room for the next trip as we've booked so far in advance. Can't decide what would be the best ask for. We did 3rd floor building 5 (I think) last time with a pool view. Do the corenr rooms have 2 double beds in them? Any tips appreciated.

The corner room we had in Mar/April had 2 double beds, just like the 'standard' room. I don't think we were officially water view, since we were on the corner near the play area (that, and we didn't pay for a view!)

We were on the corner of building 2, looking toward the main building. Technically, not a preferred room, but it was less than one minute (30 seconds if one really gets "it" in gear) to the pool and just about a minute to the food court. It was on the "quiet" side, so the pool noise and lights didn't bother at all.

This is the 2nd time we've requested this room, and we will continue to request it. PERFECT location!!

The corner room has that double window and for those who like natural light (me!), it was lovely.

I wouldn't pay for a corner room or water view room at POFQ. The walkway is between you and the view and you have to keep the curtains closed or semi closed for privacy so passersby don't see everything that's going on in your room. I can understand a view room when you have a balcony or back window - but not at POFQ.

Having stayed there I agree - however, I could only get free dining (£750 saving) by going with a water view room which was no where near that much. So now Ive got one I'd like the best one! Opposite pool last year and while I quite liked the sploshing sounds at night I suspect they will be too loud for too long in the hotter months.

Awww, just let it all hang out! :) It's like another Fantasmic! show!! Good point, but I like the sunshine in there in the morning and when we take "naps" in the afternoon. People can see me, I guess. I don't care. At night, though, it's closed tight as a barrel.

I didn't pay extra for the corner room. Maybe it was a free upgrade or maybe standard b/c I was facing the courtyard rather than the pool?
