Question regarding meals for a child that is 2 1/2 - our friends are leaving for Disneyland tomorrow and I am wondering if there is anywhere that their kid will eat for free - specifically they have a princess lunch scheduled - will they feed their child and do they have to pay for it???

Thanks

Kids under 3 eat free at all buffet meals. For table service, they can eat off your plate, or you can buy them a meal. Counter service - same. They now have "toddler" meals which are a good value, too. Just ask at the counter service places.

Of course, my 4 year old wanted the toddler meal and my 2 1/2 year old wolfed down the full-size grown ups pizza. LOL!!

I have a dozen nieces and nephews. We took a couple of them (just turned 4 and 6) and it really surprised us how much they could eat! My daughter and I would order an adult meal for us, and a kids meal for them, then supplement their meals with ours! We teased my sister that when she tok these 2, with the 2 and 1yo to Goofy's she got her moneys worth! They EAT! Which I prefer to my other 4yo nephew who eats nothing, and you have to keep bribing, only to hear 5 minutes later "I'm hungry".

Whenever we have eaten at the Princess lunch at Ariel's Grotto, they always gave our 2 year old a half portion of the kids meal for free. The first time, the waiter suggested it, and the times after that we asked about it.

Yes, at Ariel's Grotto we were able to get a half-size kid's meal for free for our 1 year old. I would think this would be an option until the child is 3 and is a paying ticket-holder.
