Just curious just how crowded it got?

Pretty crowded. We got there around 9:15 PM and it was packed, but after the fireworks were canceled people started to filter out and by closing time it was quite reasonable. It was pretty cold, though, especially after riding Splash at 11:30 PM...

This morning at the Greeters Briefing we were told that we expected to hit capacity today at the Studios and had hit capacity yesterday. I got off at 12:30, so I don't know if we closed today. However, one of the coordinators mentioned, about 11:30, that MK was at a Stage 2 closing at that time.

I went to Animal Kingdom after work, so I got there about 3:30ish. It was definitely more crowded than normal, but not as bad as I expected. I suppose most people were at MK or Epcot that day! I went to MGM on Friday evening, and boy, I had never seen the parking lot so packed to the gills. They actually had cars parked in the driving lanes! The strange thing was, it didn't seem all that crowded in the park itself. I guess everyone was off watching Fantasmic because I went to the Osborne Lights and it was pretty light on people. I was at Epcot the day after Christmas, and it was very crowded, but not extremely so. I had to wait in line for the Candlelight Processional for over an hour, and I didn't bother trying to ride anything. Maelstrom had a 50 minute wait and Soarin was at 170 minutes! Yikes! I did ride Spaceship Earth and had to wait in a 30 minute line for that.

I wondered about that, as I didn't think they canceled the MK fireworks that often!

I think Andrew was talking about DisneyLAND (in California) and not WDW.

Yeah, I got it, CF. It's an easy mistake to make - I do it all the time!
