I read about this idea on the DL planning board and am hoping someone over here might be able to help me out. The general idea is that someone who is going to be in WDW mails a postcard to someone who is going on a later trip. We are heading out on 1/19 and I would love to find someone who will be in WDW in the next week or so and would be willing to drop us a line from Mickey. Any volunteers? I'd pay any costs you incur :)

Lara, I got your address info in the PM. Is there a specific postcard you want, like the castle or one of all the parks, or one of Mickey, or another character. You want the card signed by Mickey though, right? I will send one to each of the boys rather than a shared one if that is okay, might make a better souvenier depending on their ages. I will be happy to do this for a fellow MousePadder as a pay it forward, or Dream fulfillment, and maybe you will have the chance to pass it on to another.

Thanks so much for being our fairy godmailer! The cards arrived today and both of the boys were thrilled. As I put the 2 year old to bed he asked where his card was and then said "I love Mickey and Minnie"! I really apprecaite your starting the magic for us :)

You're welcome Lara. Glad they enjoyed receiving the postcards. My daughter practiced Mickey's signature in case they saw it on site and compared it. We hoped to maybe get them signed at the Disney VISA picture spot by Mickey, but we arrived 5 minutes too late. So, we found it and "forged" it ourselves. Hope your trip was great!

I am also planning for WDW, but I am confused about time, please suggest me whats the best time to go there,

Thank you sooooo much! We got the postcard yesterday or Friday! My daughter was thrilled that Mickey and Minnie know she is coming and that they sent her a postcard , especially one with them on it! It was awesome!!! Thank you sooo much again! Hope your trip was wonderful:)
