I am a Florida resident and an annual passholder. I may have a family member and a friend come to visit this winter. Is there a legitimate way to use my residency or passholder status to find a discount on a 2-3 day park hopper for them?

I would guess not, but it never hurts to ask.

If there is one, I would check out Mousesavers.com. Mary is really good about listing just about all the legitimate discounts available. You could also check out the AP page on the official website, they might list something there as well (if there is anything).

As a passholder you can purchase discounted tickets for you and up to three guests for the water parks.

Each person age 18 or older who is purchasing Florida Resident discounted tickets is required to provide a photo ID, and name and address are put into ATS and the name printed on the ticket. This is why, for example, if you buy FR tickets at AAA you only receive Exchange Certificates and not live tickets; each person has to show ID and convert the ticket.

Not for tickets to the theme parks. Non-residents are not eligible for the resident discount tickets. As someone else has stated, you can get discounted water parks or mini golf tickets. I believe there may be one on DisneyQuest as well - and Pleasure Island. For the theme parks though, your relatives are on their own.
