View Full Version : Where in the Vast Universe Should the DCL Ships Go
HTHBellcaptain 08-11-2002, 07:25 PM If you could choose the ports of call for the Wonder or the Magic, what would they be?
(Keep in mind it can be anywhere within our Universe. Please do not mention places in other of parallel univeses. Those might be difficult to reach with a ship.)
MonorailMan 08-11-2002, 08:22 PM I'd like to see a Long Beach stop, then maybe I could go on a cruise! :)

How about the stop at Alpah Centuri in the XCI quadrant?:D
julia 08-12-2002, 11:17 AM Hi!
I think that Disney should look at the Mexican Riviera - there are a lot of kids in the West that would love to go on a Disney cruise and not take a day to get to Florida and then, get home again....
Best Regards,
Julia
HTHBellcaptain 08-24-2002, 08:45 PM You know, maybe they should try an uncoventional cruise. They could go to stops like Kansas, Wyoming, and South Dakota. What do ya think?
Nigel2 08-24-2002, 09:23 PM Well if you got enough explosives...:D
HTHBellcaptain 09-11-2002, 07:22 PM I would love for the Disney Cruiseline to start booking trips to Volcania (Captain Nemo's secret island), or maybe to the Island at the Top of the World.
Matterhorn Fan 09-11-2002, 07:42 PM I'd like to see Atlantis.

Well with a few specially placed charges and... oh wait do you mean the resort?:D
HTHBellcaptain 09-23-2002, 07:47 PM I would like to take a cruise to the heart of the Sahara desert. Is that too much to ask for?
Morrigoon 09-23-2002, 08:10 PM I think there ought to be cruises connecting DL's. There ought to be a western cruise that starts at DL, does a couple days in Hawaii, then heads to Tokyo. In the east, the ship should start from Orlando (okay, port canaveral), and end in Paris. Then get agreements with airlines to cover the missing parts so you could book a Disney-round-the-world trip :D

That would be so cool. It would take forever, but it would be so much fun.
Nigel2 09-23-2002, 08:58 PM Hmmm... (I don't do cruises) Are there any cruises (Cargo Freighters don't count) that go from California to Hawaii let alone Japan?
HTHBellcaptain 09-24-2002, 07:45 AM I would love for the Disney flagship to go to Hogwarts Castle. After all, it is called the Magic.
Matterhorn Fan 09-24-2002, 09:16 AM As a side excursion could we go see a Quidditch match? Please?

I just got some desturbing. He-who-is-not-to-be-mentioned (No, I'm not talking about Niger :D ) has just been appointed as the ships cruise director. I may have to rethink my travel plans.

I don't know of any California to Japan cruises (there may be some very high end ones), but there are lots of California to Hawaii cruises. In fact, Hawaii is one of the most common destinations (along with Mexico and Alaska) for California-based cruises.

Who would name thier child after a racial slur? Oh... no more candy for you:D
Really it's one of the more popular cruise locations? Then again I saw on the travel chanel a cruise that did that whole area.
Speaking of watercraft, did anyone see the Georgia? (I think that is what it's called) It is a huge yaht, largest single mast craft on earth I believe. It's owned by a reclusive billionare and they (family and guests) only use it for short trips, basically a cruise arround the harbor kind of deal.:D

 Oh my Gosh!!! I didn't notice that. Yikes!!! That was meant to say "Nigel," not what I accidently typed. :o For anyone who doesn't know me, that is the last term I would ever use. I do not use racial slurs. Heck, I don't even cuss. My deepest apologies to everyone.
I guess I need to make a habit of proof reading.
Matterhorn Fan 09-25-2002, 06:43 PM Oh my heck!
Niger is a country in Africa. The racial slur you referred to is spelled with two g's.
Proofreading is a good thing, but so is reading.
Nigel2 09-25-2002, 09:18 PM Yes yes we know that, I had a class in which I was always next to a map of the world and Niger was always right next to my ear.:D
I just wanted to see how HTH would react, oh I wont even go into what totally legitmate can get your fired.

Fortunately, I'm not salaried (During this turbulent time with the company, it is something I am very pleased about). This means that I am covered by the Union contract, which means that they have to have a really good reason to get rid of me. So there.:p :D
Nigel2 09-26-2002, 09:51 PM Oh like using the sacred loading zone for an attraction as a makeshift twister pad?:D
HTHBellcaptain 10-01-2002, 07:33 PM Neverland would be a great place to take a cruise to see. Granted, you would have to dodge cannon balls, but it looks like a very lovely place.
HB Tigger Fan 10-01-2002, 08:24 PM I say that the DCL has ports of call on the west coast. Leaving from Long Beach and San Pedro. They can go to Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska, Catalina etc...
