Since I don't have any kids, I don't know a whole lot about the activities that the Disney Cruise Line has for the younger shipmates. I saw that the kids were always doing stuff and seemed to have a great time. Are there any parents who could shed some light on what activities they have, and just how cool these things are. I'm just curious, since I won't ever be able to see those cool things.

THere are so many fun things for the youngins one could actually go through thier whole cruise and only see thier kids at bed time! They even take your kids to dinner if you want. My son (age 6) didn't spend the whole time at the kids center since I really wanted to eat as a family each night and go to the shows all together. He did get to go on a treasure hunt complete with Captain Hook and treasure they actually got to take with them. They also had a personal photo taken with the big mouse himself and made a frame for the picture. Some of the other activities included making flubber, nightly movies, storytelling. The activity centers are full of fun things to do too like tons of fun custumes for dressing up, computer games, and more! Castaway Cay even has a special place just for the kids!

From what I could find on their website, it looks like you have to be at least 4 to enjoy those kids activities. I thought that they had a nursery for the younger kids. My daughter is almost 3, and I was actually thinking about doing the land/sea next year, but not if she has to be 4 for those activities. Anyone know if this is true? I thought they had a nursery for kids under 4.

Yes there is a nursery but as far as I know it is for kids under age 3. For 3 and up they can join in the kids club activities. So you little one should be able to take part in the Oceaneer's club.
