a bunch of celebs have come by my resturaunt. vanessa hudgens (who was not very nice by the way), leo dicaprio, and i saw hilary swank last week. there is also alot of sitr on the back side of my resturant. thats where some of the stars trailers are held if they do a disney event like the christmas parade etc. the whole cast of high school musical was out there and so was hannah montana. gwen steffani was also using our backstage area to walk around to avoid crowds and walk right next to me. she smiled at me :-). there was also someone from the clippers in my resturaunt too, i dont remember his name though...

The only celebrities we've seen so far, if you can call them that, is Daniele Donato and her love interest from the Big Brother show, Nick :p
(which was in October 2007 -- we rode on the Disneyland monorail with them)
LOL, we were there the beginning of October and I got a picture with her dad, He was awesome, my wife thought he was tommy lee and I was walking away until she said "Wait no, thats evel Dick" I ran up and told him how much we loved him on the show.

Landlubbers! It's CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow!:rolleyes::p
Savvy?
Actually savez (savez-vous?) = do you know/understand? but if I wrote that then people would be saying to themselves, "Save ezz? What does that mean?"

Jack Sparrow....Captain Jack Sparrow....Joe......whatever. I don't dig the contemporary addition of a famous actor who has, in a sense, become bigger than the character he's playing in the movie.

No disrespect to your view. To many, they look and see Johnny Depp. I see
Captain Jack Sparrow, and not Geoffrey Rush, but Barbossa on the ship. Yes, they are catering to the fans and yes, it is profitable to do so. I wouldn't mind Tia Dalma's voice in there somewhere saying, "You have a touch of destiny about you", but that's about it, no other changes.
Someday our kids will bring theirs and mourn all the changes since 2008.

.
Rumor has it that there will one day be a Tia Dalma sitting in place of the old man in the rocking chair, a touch of destiny may not be that far away!

Wow, that's sort of what I was thinking of.....Sitting Down would probably less scary to the little kids;)

NO!!! ok i am not even one of those old timers at disneyland. I've been going for about 12 years. But I love it as much (more) than anybody else. And I DO NOT want to old guy gone! He is one of the best parts! I wouldn't mind SO much if Tia Dalma was just a voiceover but to take the old man! They already added Johnney Depp! Keep the old man!

We were there a couple of years ago and I swear we saw Kenny Loggins. My family wasn't sure, but I'd bet the farm:)

I never get to see any celebs at Disneyland but I did get to stand next to Brad Pitt at the 2005 USGP in Laguna Seca. I would have been more impressed to be next to Valentino Rossi(7 time World Champion) but he was nice enough and apologized when he stepped on my foot(I was in sandals too ugh)

I saw Steven Tyler at DCA in 2002 (lead singer of Aerosmith, Liv Tylers Dad). It was just whatever to me, I'm not into the whole making them feel uncomfortable thing. We first noticed him on Screamin, they bascially stopped the ride and let him and his party use the next train. It was a long line all ready, so it kind of made everyone a little cranky, but whatever. Then we ended up eating at someplace where they had hot dogs, and he came and ate like right next to us. One of the girls I was with was trying to snap a bazillion pictures of him, but I considered it a waste of film, would rather get one of me and Mickey.....:D

May 28th...Walking through adventure land heading towards Indiana Jones an entourage and security and appeared to be some religious monks. Don't think it was the Dali Lama, but must have been someone important with the group they had.

Greetings!
My first post, but long-time lurker.
As luck would have it, I visited the park on the day of it's 35th anniversary. My gal pal and I were just exiting POTC, and just a few feet away was Ronald Reagan, leaving Club33! It seems that he was there to participate in the festivities, just as he did on opening day.
I was able to snap a few photos, then he made his way over to the railroad and off he went, waving and smiling the entire time.
I've uploaded the best photo to my album, if anyone is interested. Looking forward to our next visit to the park, next Friday!

Ha, I can't believe none of you have mentioned or seen the biggest celeb of all time at the parks. I've seen Michael Jackson at least 3-4 times 10-15 years ago. Granted it was long ago, but he was there all the time. Words can't describe how people react when they see a small glimpse of Michael. People were fainting left and right. I'll never forget on the People Mover, we all saw him riding on it going past the monorail and into the circle visions attraction, his trademark hat and all - people went nuts and flocked to the exit. Screams of, "Michael!" were insane. I've never seen such a large group of people run towards someone so quick. He quickly disappeared into Space Mountain behind a mob of disneyland security. All day, the word that Michael was in the park would spread like a California wildfire. There were sightings and faintings all day.
I remember that kid that accused him of sexual abuse was the one he went with a lot. He would wear a hat like Michael's and stick his head out the window of Walt's apartment above the fire station. Everyone would scream for Michael only to groan when it was the kid messing around. Man, those were the days I miss... I'd cut off body part to see Captain EO again in 3d, ahhhhhhhhhhhhh *faints*
Plus, in many years I've seen so many. From Regis to Harrison to the cast of Full House to Whoopie & Ted to Magic Johnson. There were a lot back in 95 for the opening of the Indiana Jones ride and in 94' I believe for the Lion King Premiere at the Abe Lincoln Theater. Most recently in March Forrest Whitiker was with his family on Screamin'. He's the best ever.
I cannot wait to get my pass again in a month or sooo, yesssssss. It's been almost 10 years since I've had one. I'm back... and better than ever!

We saw Jimmy Kimmel with is Fiance last September. He was standing in line behind up at the Bengal BBQ. He was really nice and seemed suprised that people knew who he was!

Jimmy's a good guy. I went to middle school and high school with him here in Vegas. He came to our 20 year reunion a few years back (with Sarah), and he was the same nice guy I knew back in school, and she was quite friendly. Both are hard working and don't take their successful careers for granted. He's even employed several of his childhood friends on the show, both in front of and behind the camera.

I remember two years ago while on vacation in July we saw the R&B singer and producer Babyface, and the year befor that we saw Cuba Gooding Jr and his family on the Storybook boat ride. He was really nice and waved and said hello to everyone.

I actually work for Jimmy Kimmel and can't say enough good things. Not only does he employ his family and friends he treats the rest of us like family as well. He and Sarah are great. Glad everyone liked the Damon/Affleck things they were alot of fun to do. Please keep watching so I can keep enjoying myself at DLR.

What a cool job. Wow. And you actually worked on those shoots. That practically makes you part of a pop culture legacy. Feel proud. Haha. I'm very amused.
