Saw Scott Grimes (Dr. Archie Morris on ER) in the lobby of the GCH last night (1/2/08) with his family.
Someone told me Tommy Lasorda was in the park with a granddaughter today, but I didn't see them (but I have no reason to doubt the person who told me).
I saw Tommy Lasorda that day too, but he seemed to be with another older gentleman when I saw him. I also saw you, Andrew, I was the crazy lady that said "Hi, MouseAdventure people!" I would have ordinarily said a more polite hello, but I was with a group of 26 people on the move.

I saw him a few months ago, walking down Main Street while talking on his cell phone. He was by himself, and seemed pretty comfortable walking around. Usually when I've seen celebrities at different public places, they try hard to not be noticed, but become noticeable because they're trying so hard to NOT be noticed.

I haven't seen him at DLR but I saw him at the NFFC Show & Sell. I can't remember if that was just last January - I think it was.

The train conductor who took us on a tour of the Lily Belle said he comes there quite a bit and rides the Lilly Belle alot. She said he is a big Disney fan. He even sits in the same chair and they call it the Stamos Chair. LOL!! She said he is very nice.

Terri Irwin and Bindi Irwin sat next to us waiting for a table at Steakhouse 55 in November 2007, and we saw Chris Farley's brother on our way out. I don't know his name but he's the splitting image of his bro and caught my attention because he thought the bottle of water I was holding was a bottle of Corona beer so he yelled something at me about my "beer" lol
On Saturday Jan.. 12, 2008, I *think*I saw Tre Cool the drummer from Green Day getting off of the railroad ride behind Rancho De Zocalo. He was with a VIP Services CM and a little boy. If it wasn't him then it looked A LOT like him, but he was wearing sunglasses so I really couldn't confirm.

Kobe Bryant tonight (between 8:30 and 9:30pm), 1/19, at then exit of Slash Mountain then again leaving Pirates and heading to the train station. He had a large group of kids and family, was carrying his smallest child the whole time, and wore a Green or Blue/black jester style hat. Two managers in black coats, private security guard, and a cast lead were part of the group too. I tried to take a photo, without flash so as not to bother them, and was ushered aside by a manager who said photos were not allowed.

The only celebrities we've seen so far, if you can call them that, is Daniele Donato and her love interest from the Big Brother show, Nick :p
(which was in October 2007 -- we rode on the Disneyland monorail with them)

Don't know if this counts as a celebrity sighting but we saw Tony Baxter (Senior Vice President of Creative Development at Walt Disney Imagineering) in the Disneyana shop on Sunday night. He walked in really fast, looked in a case, said "hi" to one of the cast members and then walked out. DH was going to go over and talk to him but he left the store really fast.
Back in 2003 Dennis Quaid and his son rode the orange zinger over in DCA with us.

I saw Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart today at DCA. Other guests also saw them at DL. I also saw Johnny Depps family today - girlfriend and two kiddies. He was not with them. They were getting on Soaring. It was a big day for celebrities at the parks I guess.

I'd be curious to know whether Ford went on Indiana Jones... :)

Speaking of Johnny Depp and Harrison Ford.
It might be my personal opinion here, but Jack Sparrow added to Pirates is okay I guess, but I don't think they should have made him look exactly like Johnny Depp.
Put the character in there, not the actor.
They didn't make Indiana look exactly like Harrison Ford.
Sitting in a boat hearing guests say, "There's Johnny Depp" sort of takes the history out of this classic attraction for me.

Well said. Especially since he was still in diapers when it opened and I first rode it.

I resemble that "I saw someone but I don't know who" remark. Usually I don't notice celebrities - I notice a group with a bunch of plaid CMs and say "Ok, who is that?" ;)
Many years ago - (I could google the Atlanta Olympics to find out when - let's guess 11 years ago 1996?) we were eating at Thunder Ranch BBQ (:sigh: Remember that?) when we saw a group that was obviously "Someone" but we had no idea WHO. Frankly, we were guessing they were middle eastern by their appearance. We asked one of the CMs who was bussing tables around us. It was Gloria Estephen. Oops. Ok, so I'm really bad at IDing celebs.
Adrienne
Oh man I miss that place! The only place to get BBQ in the Park. They really need to put in a place where you can get a side of ribs or a pulled Pork sammich! *sigh*
I have seen no famous people in DL. Course I am not really looking for them. Although when I worked in a candy store in Berkeley CA back in 1996, James Woods came in with his VERY young girlfriend at the time. And having worked in radio broadcasting, I got to interview more musicians than you could shake a drumstick at! :fez: Interesting, but no big deal. It was my job to do that.
Though I would not mind feasting my eyes on David Beckham....
